The event is held in accordance with the FIM & FFM Sporting Codes and the Supplementary Regulations.
 

Eligible categories and classes:

Category 2    - 450 cc

CLASSIFICATION

Every day:

A general classification will be put up on the official board at each bivouac. 
There will be separate classification for each category and the XTREME RIDER class.

Prize giving:

• The ALGERIA ECO RACE rewards a maximum of riders either with a trophy or with an ALGERIA ECO RACE medal.
• The first three riders in the scratch as well as the first three XTREME RIDER will receive a trophy.
• Each category and class will also be rewarded with a trophy.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

The 2021 supplementary regulations are being finalized. 
 

FIM : regulations

Some Moto/Quad riders wish to participate in the ALGERIA ECO RACE to challenge themselves and experience the rally the « hard way », like a hero, without any service vehicle or mechanic. 
 

The organization will transport:

• 2 trunks of 80 liters (no bags)
• 1 tent (type 2 seconds)
• 2 complete wheels.

IN ADDITION OF THE TRANSPORT, riders of the XTREME RIDER will benefit of:

When arriving at the checks:

• A dedicated structure
• An appropriate equipment
• An attentive staff

A dedicated communication: 

• LIVE FACEBOOK from the bivouac in the « BIVOUAC INSIDE »,
• Shared video coverage of the event on social media as well as the ALGERIA ECO RACE programs,
• Photo posts on all social media channels.

The XTREME RIDER trophy: 

A dedicated ranking XTREME RIDER will be posted every day at the bivouac,
At the end of the rally, on the podium:

• The 3 first winners of the category will be awarded with a dedicated trophy 
• The other riders will receive a XTREME RIDER medal

Is included in the fee, among other services: 

The TWO-WAY BOAT TRANSPORT of each registered MACHINE,
BOAT TRANSPORT TWO-WAYS of each PARTICIPANT registered,
customs administrative formalities.
 

The fee applied will correspond to the one applicable at the time of the initial registration in race/raid category.
Once the racing vehicle(s) entered, the assistance vehicle(s) may be registered later.
Therefore, assistance will benefit from the same offer as the race registration. 

Example: registration on July 1st of a racing / raid vehicle at the preferential rate. Registration for assistance in August, the rate applied is the same as the one of the race / raid vehicle, ie "the preferential rate".

Please note assistance must be entered in the same file as race / raid vehicle. The ALGERIA ECO RACE cannot invoice several people or entities for the same team.

The call of the desert is stronger than anything !!

You want to race on a rally, on 5 stages in Algeria,

ARE COMPULSORY: 

GPS UNIK 2 / SENTINEL - ERTF

Competitors must rent the mandatory GPS directly from the Organizer’s exclusive supplier (ERTF). 

Competitors will therefore all be equipped with a single model GPS, with integrated warning Sentinel and interactive horn.
Only ERTF brand equipment or ERTF approved equipment can be paired with the GPS. Connection of any other equipment is prohibited.

The purchase of the fitting kits (bracket, antenna, wires, power supply) of these materials is at the competitors’ expense.

All vehicles must be at the checks with all the mounting kits already installed on board with operational electrical connections.
The various safety equipment will be provided during the administrative checks.

IRITRACK – MARLINK

The Iritrack is a safety and communication equipment to be rented exclusively by the Organizer’s supplier (MARLINK).

It transmits real time positions of the competitors to the Race PC. This vehicle tracking satellite system will be on the website www.africarace.com throughout the rally.

The purchase of the fitting kits (bracket, antenna, wires, power supply) of these materials is at the competitors’ expense.

All vehicles must be at the checks with all the mounting kits already installed on board with operational electrical connections.
The different safety equipment will be provided during the administrative checks.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Besides the mandatory safety material, it is obligatory for each rider to have:

• 1 reserve of drinking water of minimum 3 liters (can be easily removed without tools, regardless of the position of the machine),
• 1 flexible 2-liter tank bag carried by the pilot (Camelbak type) at the start of each stage,
• 1 lunch pack (given on the bivouac, every morning),
• 1 flashlight, if possible flashing,
• 1 distress mirror,
• 1 compass,
• 1 lighter,
• 1 aluminium survival blanket (2m x 1m approx.),
• 2 distress flares: 1-night hand light, 1 cyalume,
• 1 first aid medical kit,
• 2 straps,
• Back and pectoral protections,
• Approved helmet (F.I.M. standards) less than 5 years old.

Cervical collar recommended.

AUTONOMY

250 kms on Selective Sectors. For security, an additional autonomy of 10% is required. 

REFUELING

• On liaison sections, the local petrol stations will be indicated in the road-book.

Compulsory: An International 2021 FIM license : annual or one event.

Careful: the nationality of the rider on the entry list and the classifications must correspond to country of the federation in which the license was subscribed.

2 STEP INSCRIPTION PROCESS

As from now, to benefit from the best offer possible on your entry 

You have to:

• Create an account or connect to an existing account 
• MY ACCOUNT / VEHICLES: Create a vehicle and enter the dimensions. If you do not yet have the model, simply fill the slots with “X” 
• MY ACCOUNT / MY TEAMS: Create your team 
• MY ACCOUNT / MY CREWS: Create your race crew by attaching the vehicle 
• MY ACCOUNT / MY CREWS: On the right: ACTION/MANAGER/MEMBER: Create the pilot and co-pilot. If you do not have all the names, fill the slot with “X”. 

Any information can be modified any time before the close of the entries.

To complete and finalize the team file

All slots need to be filled in your own time. 

A copy of the following documents have to be uploaded 

• Each passport of each person valid until 31st of May 2022.
• Each valid driving licence (back and front) corresponding to the category of vehicle entering the race.  
• Each vehicle registration document (including the trailer).  

Each Registration File must be finalised and fully completed at the latest on 15 of August, date of the entry closing.
